## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Set Suno’s editorial vision for music discovery and celebration, including in-app playlists, artist spotlights, and genre, style, and mood taxonomy.
- Develop and maintain curation frameworks that reflect Suno’s community and the evolving landscape of AI-generated music.
- Champion artist spotlights and features for community recognition and platform storytelling.
- Use data, community feedback, and cultural context alongside human taste to guide editorial decisions.
- Build and lead the editorial team through hiring, mentoring, and establishing curation standards.
- Partner with Product and Engineering on the interaction between human editorial signals and algorithmic recommendations.
- Define editorial perspectives on quality and originality in AI-assisted music.
- Manage the balance between Suno-created music and licensed SunoDrive editorial content across discovery, engagement, and remixing.
- Represent Suno’s editorial voice with artists, labels, press, and partners.
- Define success metrics and report on editorial program impact to leadership.

## Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in A&R, editorial, or a related music-industry field.
- Strong point of view on music curation, discovery, and authentic, culturally resonant editorial programs.
- Operational experience building and improving marketing or editorial workflows.
- AI fluency or demonstrated curiosity and fair judgment regarding AI-assisted music.
- Familiarity with metadata and taxonomy systems.
- Excellent communication skills with senior artist teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across marketing, brand, creative, growth, and engineering teams.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a high-growth environment.
- Passion for music, culture, and creativity, with awareness of industry trends.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
- Ability to work onsite at one of Suno’s offices.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience at a streaming, publication, or AI company.
- Familiarity with music taxonomy, metadata, or editorial curation systems.
- Experience working with or alongside product and engineering teams.

## Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range of **$200,000–$263,000**.
- Company equity package.
