## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and execution for the Skydio X10 Dock ecosystem across hardware and software.
- Engage customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to identify business problems and develop product visions and strategies.
- Use customer discovery, ride-alongs, and analytics to prioritize high-impact problems.
- Own and publish product requirements documents and roadmaps for current and future dock products.
- Partner with hardware, firmware, computer vision, AI, and machine learning engineering leaders and designers to execute product vision.
- Capture and synthesize customer and prospect feedback to influence product direction.
- Collaborate with sales and customer success on customer relationships and enablement.
- Partner with product marketing on launch plans, positioning, and messaging.
- Prioritize reliability, scalability, maintainability, future-proofing, and the broader ecosystem experience.

## Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience defining and delivering hardware products and associated end-to-end software experiences, with ownership of strategy, execution, and go-to-market.
- Experience shipping robust hardware products in commercial, public safety, or defense markets, or strong interest in serving those customers.
- Strong systems thinking and ability to balance product opportunities with ecosystem health, simplicity, and extensibility.
- Interest in customer discovery, system scaling, reliability, data analysis, and hands-on product work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical background enabling participation in discussions about architecture challenges and tradeoffs.
- Background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science.

## Nice-to-haves
- Advanced degree or MBA.
- Experience with drones, robotics, autonomous systems, or products operating in demanding physical environments.
- Experience building product ecosystems with modular attachments or accessories and forward/backward compatibility challenges.
- Experience with remote fleet management, high-availability systems, or unattended operation at scale.
- FAA Part 107 certification; obtaining certification within the first 60 days is encouraged and required for certain positions.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary: $196,000–$240,000.
- Equity through stock options.
