## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own delivery for high-stakes AI projects end-to-end, including client engagements, internal ventures, product-market fit exploration, and enterprise execution.
- Act as strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Facilitate workshops with client leadership, translate goals into roadmaps, and guide build/buy/sequence decisions.
- Prototype, test, and ship real products rather than just specs or slides.
- Lead cross-functional teams, break down ambiguity, define milestones, and focus on what matters.
- Translate between engineers, clients, researchers, and executives.
- Operate like a founder, navigating ambiguity and making hard calls.
- Potentially lead Skunkworks spinouts or internal ventures.

## Requirements
- Proven experience in product leadership, AI product development, or startup building.
- Strong understanding of generative AI stacks, **LLMs**, vector DBs, and APIs.
- Track record of advising or working with senior leadership on complex problems.
- Strong judgment on product, technical, and commercial trade-offs.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and ship without permission.
- Excellent communication across technical and strategic contexts.
- Alignment with mission and long-term thinking.
- Full-time availability.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Background in consulting, advisory, or client-facing strategy work.
- Prior founder/operator experience or desire to build ventures.
- Experience building AI/no-code/low-code prototypes or MVPs.
- Exposure to AGI-aligned thinking or AI safety.
- Fluent in user research, iterative development, lean experimentation.
- Network or domain expertise in high-value AI areas.
- Based in LA for in-person work.

## Compensation
- Salary: **$120K - $220K** per year (California-based).
- Equity in client projects and Skunkworks ventures (priced at $0 when granted; retain 20% on good terms, 100% on spinouts).
