## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead the revenue accounting function and own end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes.
- Ensure accurate, timely, scalable, and controlled revenue recognition under ASC 606.
- Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, RevOps, Legal, Billing, AR, FP&A, and IT to structure deals correctly and prevent revenue leakage and billing errors.
- Serve as the accounting subject-matter expert for Salesforce and Zuora, including controls, discrepancy resolution, and billing/revenue configuration.
- Own monthly revenue close, including journal entries, deferred revenue and contract asset/liability reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting.
- Own standalone selling price methodology and documentation; prepare technical accounting memos for complex revenue transactions.
- Drive automation and system improvements across the Salesforce, Zuora, ERP, revenue, and cash pipeline.
- Build and maintain revenue and Order-to-Cash internal controls; support annual audits and SOX readiness.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive revenue or technical accounting experience, including leadership of a SaaS revenue function.
- Deep knowledge of ASC 606, SaaS subscription revenue models, and close and controls management.
- Hands-on experience with Zuora and Salesforce.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and clear communication with senior stakeholders.

## Nice-to-haves
- CPA certification.
- 3+ years of Big Four experience.
- Familiarity with NetSuite, QuickBooks, FloQast, or BlackLine.

## Compensation
- Base pay range: $163,000–$196,000 annually.
- Full-time regular positions are eligible for equity, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits.
