## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Guide customers through the 401(k) automation onboarding process and provide consultative outreach to keep onboarding on track.
- Communicate clearly with customers and 401(k) providers through calls, email, and screen sharing.
- Own the end-to-end onboarding journey, including confirming eligibility and requirements, gathering provider and plan details, building and testing plans in Pay(k)onnect, and confirming accuracy before go-live.
- Anticipate roadblocks, coordinate with internal and external partners, and resolve unexpected issues.
- Qualify customers for 401(k) automation eligibility and compliance.
- Develop efficient processes and customer resources.

## Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional work experience, ideally in retirement, payroll, financial services, or a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience in metrics-based roles where data accuracy and KPIs are central to customer success.
- Strong account management experience with a high-volume book of business and tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with customers and external company partners.
- Problem-solving ability and comfort navigating ambiguity in a dynamic operational setting.
- Self-directed execution skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Curiosity about technology and willingness to use AI and automation tools such as Glean, Gemini, and other LLM-based tools.

## Compensation & Benefits
- Cash compensation: **$23.50–$26.44 per hour** in Denver.
- Full-time employees receive competitive base pay, benefits, and equity in the form of RSUs.
- Employees based in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City work from the office approximately 2–3 days per week or more depending on the role.
- A secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required when working outside a Gusto office.
