## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Turn complex product, customer, and risk data into insights, decision frameworks, and measurement systems.
- Use AI tools and agent workflows to accelerate data exploration, hypothesis generation, analysis, and quality checks.
- Own end-to-end work across metrics definition, experimentation, forecasting, visualization, and decision support.
- Define measurement frameworks for Support and Risk Operations, including contact-demand forecasting, staffing models, queue health, and optimization.
- Evaluate risk-model and policy performance; monitor cohorts, bias, and drift; and connect risk decisions to product and business impact.
- Design and analyze experiments, rollouts, and policy changes affecting customer access, repayment outcomes, and product growth.
- Establish technical standards, reusable frameworks, measurement templates, and scalable tooling for the Data Science team.
- Partner with product, engineering, risk, and senior stakeholders to align data science work with broader strategy.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to hiring through interviews and calibrations.

## Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, economics, computer science, or a similar quantitative field and 12+ years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree in one of these fields and 6–8+ years of relevant experience.
- Advanced proficiency with SQL.
- Experience building clear, decision-oriented data visualizations.
- Strong product, analytical, and statistical judgment.
- Ability to turn ambiguous product, customer, or risk questions into sound analyses and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
- Experience using AI tools to improve the speed, quality, and durability of analytical work.

## Compensation
- Annual salary range: $168,300–$297,000 USD, varying by location and pay zone.
