## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand security and anti-abuse problems and develop solutions with engineering, product, data science, and other teams.
- Analyze attacker and user behavior by creating datasets, metrics, and experiments to guide strategy and decision-making.
- Build detections, tune signal quality, and measure coverage across products, platforms, and internal systems.
- Lead and support security investigations, developing datasets, tooling, and analysis to scope incidents, identify root causes, and reduce detection and response time.
- Translate threat intelligence into prioritized detection coverage, hardened high-risk surfaces, and security strategy.
- Conduct investigations and security design reviews to identify current and emerging attack vectors.
- Promote secure practices across the organization.

## Requirements
- Strong understanding of real-world security, anti-abuse, detection, and response challenges.
- Fluency in SQL and proficiency in Python, R, or a similar scripting language.
- Experience with distributed data processing systems and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods and experimental design.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills.

## Compensation
- Annual base salary: $140,000–$348,000 USD.
