## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own low-voltage power distribution system requirements.
- Own vehicle communication architecture requirements.
- Own power modes and power states requirements.
- Define electrical and electronic system architectures, best practices, and validation procedures for autonomous vehicles.
- Collaborate with system engineers, component owners, vehicle integration, firmware, and vehicle component development teams.
- Participate in technical reviews to evaluate suppliers and ensure application of hardware standards.
- Execute component performance analysis for total low-voltage system power needs.
- Develop verification strategies and guide test-plan execution.
- Perform root-cause analysis and impact assessment for field issues involving power distribution and vehicle networks.

## Requirements
- BS or MS in electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 15 years of industry engineering experience.
- At least 10 years of experience with vehicle electrical architectures, ECU hardware base definitions, and vehicle power-state functionality.
- At least 3 years of experience with model-based systems engineering tools.
- Ability to gather and organize information efficiently and effectively.
- Understanding of the firmware development process for automotive ECUs.
- Experience developing wake and sleep functions for automotive ECUs.

## Nice-to-haves
- Firmware development and verification methodology.
- Proficiency in ISO 26262 and its architectural enablers.
- Experience with LIN, CAN FD, and automotive Ethernet.
- Experience with electronic fusing.
- Experience with wiring harness design and reliability.
- Experience with manufacturing requirements.
