## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own top-of-funnel sourcing strategies for specialized aircraft engineering roles across aerodynamics, aerostructures, propulsion, flight sciences, avionics, electrical, mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and test.
- Build talent landscapes by company, skillset, geography, and organizational structure; provide competitor insights and talent trends.
- Identify, engage, and attract passive, cleared, and highly specialized talent through sourcing platforms, technical communities, conferences, referrals, and niche aerospace networks.
- Build proactive pipelines and cultivate long-term candidate relationships.
- Design and improve AI-powered sourcing workflows, research agents, automations, market maps, intelligence reports, outreach content, and recruiting processes.
- Advise and coach recruiters and hiring managers on sourcing strategy, market insights, talent availability, competitive intelligence, candidate engagement, and recruiting technology.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Operations, Employer Brand, University Recruiting, and aircraft engineering leaders.
- Use recruiting analytics, experimentation, and storytelling to measure effectiveness, improve conversion rates, and optimize outreach.

## Requirements
- 8+ years of technical sourcing experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, aviation, advanced aircraft, or complex hardware/software industries.
- Experience with market mapping, competitive intelligence, and candidate generation for specialized aircraft or aerospace technical roles.
- Advanced Boolean search expertise and proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, SeekOut, ClearanceJobs, GitHub, and modern sourcing platforms.
- Consultative partnership experience with recruiters, hiring managers, and senior engineering leaders.
- Hands-on experience building or using AI-powered sourcing workflows, agentic AI tools, workflow automations, or practical AI solutions.
- Experience using AI development environments or coding assistants such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Gemini.
- Experience building relationships with passive, cleared, or niche aircraft engineering talent.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, organization, judgment, curiosity, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
- Data-driven, autonomous, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience supporting aircraft, aerospace, aviation, advanced vehicle, or defense engineering organizations.
- Familiarity with export control, ITAR, EAR, or security-cleared recruiting environments.
- Familiarity with Ashby, recruiting analytics, CRM, or talent intelligence platforms.
- Experience supporting high-growth, venture-backed technology organizations.
- Interest in emerging recruiting technologies, sourcing methodologies, and AI advancements.
