> Serve as the on-site controls engineering lead for high-speed data center construction, verifying installations, supporting point-to-point testing, resolving integration issues, and maintaining accurate field documentation to deliver gigawatts of AI compute capacity in months. Requires hands-on experience with industrial or mission-critical controls systems.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Be the controls engineering presence on site: verify installs, support point-to-point, and chase integration issues at the workface.
- Walk controls installations daily: panels, wiring, and instruments against design.
- Support point-to-point and functional testing, resolving discrepancies the same day.
- Keep the field points database honest: every change documented, every deviation dispositioned.
- Engineer gigawatts from drawing to energized, in months not years.
- Own technical execution across every build: the drawings, the field questions, and the engineering calls that keep multiple concurrent gigawatt sites moving.
- Engineer data centers that go up in months, not years. At that pace rework is not an option: problems get caught on paper or they cost a data hall.
- Design it once, build it a hundred times. Every site's lessons roll into the reference design on the way to 50GW+, so each build starts ahead of the last.

## Requirements
- Field-engineered controls on industrial or mission critical sites.
- Done point-to-point at scale and kept the trackers accurate.
- Troubleshoot from field device to head end methodically.
- Hold integrators to quality at the panel, not in the meeting.

## Nice-to-Haves
- BMS and EPMS platforms.
- Instrumentation.
- Electrical safety training.
- Commissioning support.
