## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Underwrite new and renewal accounts within authority, including enterprise accounts with approximately $1B+ in revenue, while aligning with underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, and carrier requirements.
- Build and deepen relationships with cyber specialists and sophisticated P&C placing brokers.
- Maintain disciplined underwriting files, documentation, and internal tool usage in line with workflows and governance standards.
- Participate in broker and client meetings, including external presentations, account strategy, and underwriting rationale.
- Handle nuanced coverage, structure, and wording discussions, partnering with leaders on non-standard issues.
- Partner with security and other internal stakeholders to incorporate technical and portfolio insights into underwriting decisions and broker/client discussions.
- Provide feedback on underwriting guidelines, tools, and process improvements.
- Travel regularly for broker relationship management, client meetings, broker education, and market development.

## Requirements
- 3+ years of underwriting or related experience, including meaningful exposure to cyber, technology errors and omissions, or other complex specialty risks for large enterprise businesses.
- Experience underwriting miscellaneous professional liability is a plus.
- Ability to independently analyze underwriting and pricing risks and make sound decisions within authority.
- Ability to use risk analysis and underwriting guidelines to explain decisions and rationale confidently to brokers and clients.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills in a broker-distributed environment.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary ranges from $1,000,000 to $125,000 per year across US geographic markets, based on relevant qualifications, experience, skills, and location.
