## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Act as a high-leverage surrogate for the CSO, attending key meetings and customer discussions on her behalf.
- Partner closely with the CSO as a strategic sounding board, leveraging data and business instincts to simplify complex problems and prioritize high-impact areas.
- Translate strategic vision, enterprise narratives, and complex technical data into executive and client-ready slide decks, prep materials, strategic documents, internal communications, and executive social media posts.
- Articulate the Strategy org’s impact internally and externally, leading strategy retrospectives and All-Hands presentations.
- Drive complex, high-impact projects across the Strategy org, monitor progress, follow up on action items, and prepare executive updates.
- Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams to understand the core product suite, navigate technical dependencies, and align cross-functional execution.

## Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- 10+ years of combined experience across Investment Banking or Management Consulting and Big Tech in roles such as Technical Assistant, Product Manager, Business Development, Chief of Staff or similar.
- Deep technical foundation with ability to grasp and translate complex technical concepts and products.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across multiple formats.
- Proven track record of stepping into high-stakes meetings on behalf of executives with C-suite, customers, and board members.
- Naturally curious problem solver with analytical mindset for ambiguous technical and business challenges.
- AI-native mindset with enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools, agentic workflows, and automation.
- Willingness to travel 30–50% for customer meetings, conferences, and team syncs.

## Compensation
For Bay Area based hires: Estimated annual salary of $221,000- $304,000
For New York City based hires: Estimated annual salary of $211,000 - $290,000

This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
