## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Analyze high-risk accounts to identify fraudulent merchants, card testing, account takeovers, and other fraud vectors.
- Lead root cause analyses to identify gaps in systems, policies, and strategies, and determine enhancements and process improvements with stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional projects to refine operational processes and tools for detecting and managing fraudulent accounts across a global analyst network.
- Investigate, mitigate, and remediate urgent fraud incidents, including card testing, account takeover, and distributed fraud attacks.
- Communicate updates during team and organization-wide business reviews.
- Summarize complex investigation outcomes for executives and deliver clear case determinations to users and partner financial institutions.
- Travel to vendor locations for analyst training and knowledge-sharing, while identifying challenges and improving analyst performance.
- Participate in weekend coverage through an on-call rotation as needed.

## Requirements
- 3+ years of experience conducting complex investigations.
- 1+ years of experience leading risk-related projects and initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to leverage data to propose tactical and strategic solutions.
- Proactive approach to challenging existing processes and advocating for improvements.
- User-centric, pragmatic, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel to vendor locations for up to 10% of the year.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience in payments, e-commerce, social media, or fintech, including digital or card-not-present fraud mitigation.
- Experience investigating and mitigating card testing and account takeover attacks.
- Experience designing fraud and risk workflows, analyst tooling, and procedural workflows.
- Strong SQL proficiency for data analysis, insights, dashboards, and visualizations.
