## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build and lead Harvey's Product Security organization, hiring and developing a high-performing team.
- Define the security standards and engineering practices that protect Harvey's products and customer data.
- Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to embed security into architecture, development, and delivery.
- Translate business risk into practical technical guidance that enables engineering teams to move quickly and securely.
- Drive security through engineering by investing in automation, developer tooling, and secure-by-default platforms.
- Serve as the executive security partner for Product and Engineering, helping prioritize security investments and navigate technical tradeoffs.

## Requirements
- Experience leading Product Security or Application Security teams at a high-growth technology company.
- Strong engineering background with deep expertise in modern application security and cloud-native architectures.
- A track record of building engineering-first security programs that scale through influence, tooling, and partnerships—not process alone.
- Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing exceptional security engineers and technical leaders.
- The ability to influence executives while earning credibility with senior engineers through sound technical judgment.
