## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### Program Ownership & Regulatory Expertise
- Own credit reporting policies, procedures, workflows, and process mappings.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on CDIA, Metro 2®, FCRA, and Reg V guidelines.

### Data Furnishing & CRA Submission
- Direct the creation, data-quality scrubbing, auditing, and monthly submission of Metro 2® files across all four major Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs).

### Dispute & Lifecycle Management
- Oversee Credit Bureau Dispute Management in alignment with the broader Complaints program.
- Maintain complete dispute lifecycle tracking and resolve data-furnishing exceptions.

### Data Integrity & Root Cause Analysis
- Lead troubleshooting, system checks, and root-cause analysis to identify and correct furnishing errors before reporting.

### Downstream Integration
- Oversee exception inputs from bankruptcy, deceased scans, repossessions, and debt sales.

### Team Leadership & SLA Performance
- Manage, coach, and develop Dispute Analysts.
- Meet KPIs, maintain dispute-response SLAs, and oversee quality assurance audits.

### Cross-Functional & Technical Alignment
- Partner with Legal, Risk, Operations, Engineering, and other technical teams on system enhancements, automation, scalable controls, and regulatory compliance.

### Continuous Improvement
- Maintain an issue inventory to optimize dispute workflows, data updates, and operational efficiency.
- Drive change management and cross-departmental collaboration.

## Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of professional experience at a consumer-lending organization, including leadership of an FCRA/Metro 2-related function.
- 5+ years in a supervisory or leadership role managing line-of-business processes for monthly FCRA file transmission.
- Experience with FCRA compliance, credit bureau disputes, enterprise-level process management, and oversight of related outputs.
- Knowledge of consumer financial laws and regulations, including ECOA, TCPA, FCRA, TILA, UDAAP, and FDCPA.
- Enterprise-level experience managing the eOscar dispute platform.
- Understanding of consumer loan underwriting, servicing, collections, and vendor relationships with major CRAs.
- Ability to manage processes against strict regulatory deadlines.
- Experience analyzing large datasets for compliance criteria.
- Understanding of software development concepts and hands-on experience with LoanPro.
- Ability to manage high-volume work queues and multidisciplinary tasks while adapting to changing software, guidelines, and processes.

## Compensation & Benefits

- Base salary: **$140,000–$155,000**.
