## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead, hire, and develop a multi-layer Solution Engineering organization supporting Majors accounts, including SE directors, managers, and principal-level individual contributors.
- Own the technical strategy for the Majors segment, aligning SE resources to revenue goals in partnership with Sales leadership on major enterprise opportunities.
- Set the vision for how Majors customers architect on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, spanning data warehousing, Snowpark, Cortex AI, native apps, and secure data sharing.
- Champion agentic and generative AI adoption with strategic accounts, guiding customers from proof of concept to production at enterprise scale.
- Serve as executive technical sponsor for top Majors accounts and build trusted relationships with CTOs, chief data officers, and VP-level stakeholders.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to feed enterprise field insights into the roadmap.
- Build repeatable technical sales motions, enablement, and value-engineering frameworks for the Majors SE team.
- Own segment-level metrics for technical win rate, proof-of-concept conversion, and SE-influenced pipeline.

## Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in solution engineering, presales, or technical field leadership, including significant experience leading enterprise or Majors segment teams.
- Track record of building and scaling multi-layer Solution Engineering organizations, including hiring and developing frontline managers and senior individual contributors.
- Deep experience selling and architecting cloud data platforms, analytics, or AI solutions for large enterprise accounts.
- Executive presence and ability to build credibility with senior customer stakeholders on business and technical outcomes.
- Fluency in modern data architecture and applied AI, with judgment to guide customers on agentic and generative AI use cases.
- Strong partnership skills with Sales leadership and ability to align technical resources to revenue outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.

## Nice-to-haves
- Direct experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms in a strategic, large-enterprise context.
- Familiarity with Cortex AI, Snowpark, or AI-assisted and agentic workflows for enterprise customers.
- Experience establishing value-engineering or technical value-selling practices at the segment or organizational level.
- Executive relationships within Majors-caliber enterprise accounts.
