## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the P&L, cash position, burn rate, monthly close, and financial discipline.
- Make strategic financial decisions about hiring, investment, and spending using operational metrics.
- Build and manage recruiting infrastructure, offers, onboarding, and talent operations.
- Resource delivery teams with tools, data, vendor relationships, and operational support.
- Establish company cadence, reporting, rituals, and alignment processes.
- Ensure contracts, entity management, regulatory requirements, and other legal and compliance matters are handled.
- Convert ad hoc operational work into repeatable, automated systems.
- Take ownership of important operational gaps and unresolved cross-functional work.

## Requirements
- Experience building or scaling an organization as a founder, first operator, or operations leader.
- Experience in real estate, infrastructure, or an adjacent industry.
- Understanding of institutional purchasing, development deals, and the built-world industry.
- Comfort with financial statements and using data to make operational decisions.
- Strategic, systems-oriented approach to operations.
- Ability to proactively identify problems and build scalable solutions.
