## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Interview clients, analyze medical records, and draft persuasive memos regarding disability claims.
- Build client relationships and manage an active caseload.
- Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy.
- Coordinate with clients’ local representatives to obtain missing paperwork from the Social Security Administration.
- Identify inefficient workflows, scope improvements, secure team buy-in, and execute process improvements.
- Support Marketing by identifying clients who may be suitable for testimonials.
- User-test new Product tools.

## Requirements
- Experience in a professional role involving substantial client-facing work, such as case management, or lawyer-facing work, such as paralegal work.
- Resourceful, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Empathetic and effective in conversations with people experiencing a crisis.
- Thoughtful, organized, and comfortable interacting with attorneys.
- Demonstrated commitment to helping people.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Professional experience helping people apply for government benefits.
- Experience working at a startup or in a fast-paced, agile environment.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $75,000–$90,000, plus equity and benefits.
- Medical and dental insurance with employee and family premiums fully covered.
- 15 vacation days and approximately 20 paid holidays annually.
