## Job Description

## What you’ll do

### Customer & Market Engagement
- Serve as trusted security thought leader in customer meetings, supporting sales, customer success, and partnerships.
- Own security narrative in late-stage cycles; lead C-suite briefings to de-risk decisions.
- Quota-attached executive overlay; own security workstream to drive conversion and expansion.
- Sit on forecast calls; clear security blockers.
- Articulate product vision and roadmap.
- Build close plans with AEs; lead competitive takeouts.
- Generate pipeline via exec roundtables and thought leadership.

### Internal Security Leadership
- Provide field feedback to influence product roadmap.
- Collaborate with product and engineering on security features.

### Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Align with GTM leadership to accelerate growth.
- Contribute to executive briefings and industry events.
- Mentor teams on security trends.

## How to be successful

- 10+ years in security leadership (CISO, Deputy CISO, or similar).
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (**SOC 2**, **ISO 27001**, **HIPAA**, **FedRAMP**).
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
- Proven ability to translate complex security concepts.
- Experience with GTM teams in customer conversations.
- Success in building customer trust and thought leadership.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Familiarity with **SaaS**, cloud-native environments, AI desirable.
- Extensive security professional network.
- Open to using AI responsibly.
