## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead clinical research expansion of Ataraxis to next cancer types/disease areas beyond breast cancer.
- Own the expansion of Ataraxis into a new cancer type from early scientific groundwork through the foundation for launch.
- Build and manage a network of relationships with clinical leaders, advisors, and research collaborators.
- Work with our data and partnerships teams to secure and shape the resources our models need.
- Partner with engineering and research to bring the first models in a new indication to life.

## Requirements
- Relentless drive: demonstrated by doing impressive things that weren't required, closing loops, and acting as your own project manager.
- Scientifically fluent: able to discuss clinical studies, translational science, drugs, and trials at the level of a medical oncologist peer.
- Scientific charm: compelling in conversations with physicians and researchers.
- Ability to form your own view on complex questions with incomplete information, reason from first principles, trust intuition, and update priors.
- Very comfortable with modern AI stack and use AI tools to increase speed (while avoiding AI slop).
- PhD or MS with research/publication track record (expected for top candidates).

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in oncology or precision medicine.
- Track record in building networks with clinical leaders and researchers.
- Prior work in clinical AI or multi-modal AI applications in healthcare.
