## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly payroll tax filings and payments throughout the APAC region.
- Manage statutory payment submissions, including Foreign Worker Levy, NS Claims, and government-paid leave submissions such as maternity, shared parental, and military leave.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws and regulations by calculating and submitting Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions on time.
- Act as the subject matter expert for annual income tax Auto Inclusion Scheme submissions and IR21 forms for employees leaving Singapore.
- Assist with New Zealand payday filings and STP filings, and superannuation activities in Australia.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records, deductions, and tax withholdings across APAC countries.
- Resolve issues and communicate with government agencies such as IRAS, ATO, and IRD.
- Directly engage with customers and resolve their issues.
- Collaborate with Global Payroll Engineering and Product teams to ensure payroll software supports payroll and tax compliance requirements, product bugs are addressed quickly, and internal tooling requirements are prioritized and implemented.
- Oversee the management, communication, and documentation of operating procedures and policies.
- Help drive APAC payroll strategy to streamline processes while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality.

## Requirements
- Extensive experience running payroll in the APAC region, particularly Singapore payroll and tax compliance.
- Prior involvement with tax and tax-notice resolution involving ATO, IRD, and IRAS.
- Familiarity with APAC HR and payroll law and policy.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Singapore payroll operations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a client-facing role.
- Ability to manage and resolve a queue of customer support tickets.
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office for data analysis and task organization.
- Ability to overlap with U.S. Eastern and Pacific time-zone hours.

## Nice to Have
- Payroll operations experience in Australia and New Zealand.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, JIRA, and Confluence.
