## Job Description

## Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for enterprise sales opportunities, partnering closely with Account Executives throughout the entire pre-sales cycle.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer business challenges, document workflows, and technical requirements.
- Design solution architectures and deliver compelling product demonstrations, executive presentations, whiteboard sessions, and technical workshops that demonstrate the value of Agentic Document Extraction.
- Lead technical evaluations and Proofs of Concept (PoCs), helping customers validate both business value and technical fit.
- Develop prototype integrations and AI workflows using Python, APIs, and modern AI development tools to address customer use cases.
- Collaborate with Sales on technical strategy, proposals, competitive positioning, executive briefings, and ROI discussions to help win strategic enterprise opportunities.
- Support strategic customer engagements after the sale as part of a land-and-expand strategy, partnering with Customer Success and Engineering when additional technical leadership is needed.
- Provide structured customer feedback to Product and Engineering, helping shape the future direction of the ADE platform.
- Partner with ISVs, OEMs, and System Integrators to build industry-specific AI solutions and expand the ADE ecosystem.
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies and contribute technical thought leadership through customer success stories, conference presentations, blogs, and internal best practices.

## Requirements
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work in a hybrid/in-office environment in Mountain View.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales role (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Applied AI Engineer) supporting enterprise software sales.
- Proven experience partnering with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, product demonstrations, executive presentations, whiteboard sessions, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) throughout enterprise sales cycles.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to both executive and highly technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of enterprise AI, document processing, LLMs, NLP, multimodal AI, RAG, or agentic AI.
- Strong Python skills to prototype customer solutions, guide coding agents, and debug AI-generated code.
- Experience using modern AI development tools (e.g., Claude CLI, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to rapidly prototype customer solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including enterprise VPC deployments, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with Snowflake or other enterprise cloud data platforms.
- Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDIC.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience selling or implementing Document AI, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), OCR, or enterprise document automation solutions.
- Experience with document AI platforms such as Instabase, Reducto, LlamaParse, Google Document AI, Azure Document Intelligence, Amazon Textract, or similar technologies.
- Experience supporting customers in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or Legal industries.
- Deep understanding of OCR, schema-based extraction, multimodal AI, RAG, and agentic AI frameworks.
- Experience building AI agents or agentic workflows using modern LLM tooling.
- Experience with JavaScript, C#, or additional programming languages.
