## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Define product strategy for SpotOn restaurant software suite.
- Own and manage the product roadmap, making data-informed trade-offs based on customer needs, market dynamics, and business priorities.
- Bring innovative mindset to product design and vision, challenging assumptions to solve customer problems.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data Science, Ops, and GTM teams to gather input, align priorities, and deliver solutions.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to identify differentiation opportunities.
- Lead experimentation, learning, and iteration using data to guide decisions.
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and partners; act as product advocate and voice of the customer.
- Collaborate with product marketing on product positioning.

## Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant product management experience or equivalent, preferably with restaurant or hospitality software.
- Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle with proven ability to deliver intuitive, high-quality products that scale across platforms.
- Technically fluent: engage with engineers, understand APIs and systems architecture, discuss implementation trade-offs.
- Metrics-driven approach leveraging data for decisions.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate vision, rationale, and tradeoffs.
- Empathy to understand customer needs and interactions.
- Ability to make decisions with imperfect information, lead without authority, and manage ambiguity and complexity.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Hands-on restaurant or hospitality experience (e.g., working in a restaurant, bar, or cafe).
