## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the Office of Cancer Clinical Proteomics Research within NCI's Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis.
- Review and process requests in GovTrip, POTS, NIHITS, NED, and ITAS.
- Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate conference and meeting attendance.
- Plan and manage domestic and international travel, including sponsored activities.
- Prepare, edit, and coordinate documents, scientific publications, reports, presentations, speeches, manuscripts, abstracts, agendas, and correspondence.
- Maintain databases tracking professional activities, travel, and project management.
- Track projects, correspondence, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate signatures and reviews for confidential documents, grant proposals, reimbursement requests, and memoranda of understanding.
- Maintain electronic mailing lists, files, and data-entry records.
- Organize scientific meetings, including guest coordination, registration, presentations, and logistics.
- Provide guidance on applicable federal guidelines and procedures.
- Support inventory, purchase requests, property management, and administrative-process improvements.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of six years of related administrative or operations experience.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
- Experience handling confidential or sensitive materials with discretion.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including document preparation and editing.
- Ability to work onsite at NCI facilities and comply with NIH safety and security requirements.
