## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
- Demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demos through proof of concepts, design, and implementation.
- Support enterprise proof-of-concept engagements and help close business.
- Partner with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs and develop winning sales-cycle strategies.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and marketing.
- Conduct customer discovery and connect business problems with Snowflake solutions and data architecture.

## Requirements
- 7–8 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including whiteboarding, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Broad experience with large-scale database and data warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
- Ability to analyze customer architecture frameworks and connect them with Snowflake data architecture.
- Must be based in Ohio or Indiana.
- Approximately 30% travel.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience with data lakes, data mesh, or data fabric technologies.
- Master's degree in data science or business administration.
- Experience working with global system integrators such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture.
