## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Monitor the UK and European policy and regulatory landscape, especially online safety and AI.
- Plan proactive policy communications campaigns and respond strategically to emerging issues with in-house Policy teams.
- Adapt Pinterest’s global corporate narrative for local audiences across Europe, with a focus on the UK.
- Collaborate with local teams to deliver impactful regional communications.
- Secure speaking opportunities, manage executive communications, and create op-eds or commentary.
- Build relationships with journalists, industry analysts, government bodies, and NGOs across the UK and Europe.
- Lead rapid response and issues management for high-priority issues, including defending policy positions against industry critics.
- Develop communications strategies with clear KPIs that align with commercial goals.
- Work directly with C-suite executives and manage complex, cross-functional projects.

## Requirements

- 10+ years of communications experience, ideally with a technology or digital media brand in an agency or in-house setting.
- Expertise in UK media and policy, with a strong understanding of EU and global regulatory environments.
- Exceptional prioritization and resource-allocation skills.
- Experience handling complex media issues across multiple European markets.
- Strong press relationships across key European outlets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, a related field, or equivalent experience.

## Work Arrangement

- Hybrid role requiring in-office collaboration approximately 1–2 times per week.
- Must be within commuting distance of Pinterest’s London office.
- Not eligible for relocation assistance.

## Compensation

- Base salary: £69,550–£132,145 GBP.
- Eligible for equity.
- Final salary depends on factors including location, travel, relevant experience, and skills.
