## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, design bespoke architectures, and deliver product demonstrations and proofs of concept across security, networking, and developer platforms.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor from onboarding through maturity, renewal, and expansion.
- Align customer business goals with the product roadmap throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Carry a variable quota tied to new business acquisition and/or account growth.
- Drive platform adoption, revenue retention, and strategic cross-sell and up-sell opportunities using product usage data.
- Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews for C-level executives, translating platform capabilities into return on investment.
- Use AI agents and internal platforms to automate RFP and security questionnaire responses, sandbox provisioning, and basic telemetry monitoring.

## Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions engineering, customer engineering, sales engineering, or forward-deployed engineering.
- Broad technical expertise in web security, networking, routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
- Experience operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment.
- Understanding of SaaS metrics, business value translation, and enterprise sales cycles.
- Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills, including communication with C-suite audiences.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience building, deploying, or architecting solutions with Cloudflare's developer platform and AI ecosystem, including Workers AI and AI Gateway.
- Experience with prompt engineering, large language model orchestration, or retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript for integration scripts, API connectors, and edge computing functions.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Variable quota-based compensation tied to new business acquisition and/or ongoing account growth.
- In-person interviews may be required at a Cloudflare office or hub during the offer-stage process.
