## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the international expansion roadmap for Merchant Central, starting with Canada and extending to the UK/EU.
- Lead strategic processor integrations end to end, including API specifications, boarding flows, processor configurations, local payment methods, and reconciliation.
- Research and document market requirements, including payment methods, regulations, currency, language, data residency, and compliance frameworks.
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and bug reports; manage and prioritize the product backlog.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, and provide delivery visibility for the roadmap.
- Define go-to-market plans, positioning, partner messaging, launch readiness, and sales/channel enablement for each market.
- Partner with Product Marketing on external content and messaging.
- Build competitive intelligence for target markets.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Finance on licensing, data privacy, tax treatment, and operational requirements.
- Define and track market-launch metrics, including partner adoption, merchant volume, onboarding completion, and product utilization.
- Use AI tools for market research, requirements synthesis, competitive analysis, and documentation.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years in payments, fintech, or B2B SaaS.
- Experience taking a product into a new market or geography through research, requirements definition, launch, and adoption.
- Hands-on product ownership experience, including user stories, acceptance criteria, Jira backlogs, and engineering delivery.
- Strong understanding of payment localization, processor integrations, currency handling, regulatory compliance, and market-specific operations.
- Experience supporting or leading launches, positioning, messaging, and sales or channel enablement.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity.
- Data-driven approach to defining and evaluating success metrics.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Fluency with AI tools for product work.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience with the Canadian payments ecosystem, including Interac, Chase Paymentech Canada, or Moneris.
- Familiarity with PIPEDA, provincial privacy laws, Quebec French-language obligations, or FINTRAC.
- Experience with UK/EU regulations such as PSD2, GDPR, FCA authorization frameworks, or SEPA.
- Product marketing experience involving positioning, launch messaging, competitive battlecards, or partner enablement.
- Experience with SaaS CRM, merchant lifecycle, or partner-facing management platforms.
- Familiarity with Jira and agile delivery.
