## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and requirements for mission-planning software.
- Represent operators by working with warfighters, mission planners, and government stakeholders to understand workflows and unmet needs.
- Define workflows for mission creation, course-of-action development, planning, tasking, coordination, visualization, validation, execution, monitoring, and dynamic replanning across autonomous and multi-domain systems.
- Translate mission objectives, workflows, technical constraints, and customer requirements into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and engineering priorities.
- Convert one-off program requirements into scalable, repeatable product capabilities across customers and missions.
- Partner with Engineering and Design through discovery, prototyping, development, integration, field deployment, validation, and iteration.
- Drive product decisions involving autonomy, command and control, communications, networking, sensors, payloads, platforms, and ground control stations.
- Evaluate interoperability requirements with government systems, mission-planning tools, ground control stations, data formats, interfaces, and operational workflows.
- Participate in field exercises, demonstrations, integration events, testing, and customer deployments.
- Define and measure success using planning speed, operator workload, feasibility validation, risk identification, mission-plan quality, execution, adoption, feedback, and mission outcomes.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of product management or technical product management experience owning complex, mission-critical software or integrated hardware/software products.
- At least 2 years in a dedicated Product Manager role.
- U.S. citizenship due to ITAR requirements and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Experience delivering and scaling field-deployed, mission-critical, or operationally complex software products.
- End-to-end product ownership from user research and strategy through design, development, deployment, adoption, and iteration.
- Direct knowledge of military mission-planning and execution workflows.
- Hands-on familiarity with JMPS, FalconView, PFPS, ground control station software, or comparable DoD planning and execution tools.
- Understanding of mission planning, command and control, platform tasking, autonomous behaviors, and mission execution.
- Strong product discovery, user research, technical fluency, and systems-level thinking.
- Ability to translate complex operational and customer requirements into actionable product priorities.
- Strong product judgment and ability to make difficult prioritization decisions.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Hybrid role in Austin, TX, with a preference for at least three days per week on site.
- Travel of 15% or less.
- DoD clearance sponsorship is available.
