## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement quantitative behavior metrics that assess AV performance across diverse driving scenarios and geofences
- Build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards to track simulation and fleet metrics across geographies and software versions
- Identify performance gaps and regressions by analyzing large-scale vehicle logs and simulation data
- Drive the definition of metric thresholds and acceptance criteria to support geofence expansion decisions
- Communicate findings and metric frameworks clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

## Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on metric design and development or performance evaluation
- Strong proficiency in Python in production environments with standard repo practices
- Experience working with time-series or sensor data
- Ability to work cross-functionally and distill complex technical requirements from diverse stakeholders

## Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with robotics or AV data
- Proficiency in C++
- Experience with simulation-based validation and metrics
