## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design and run performance review and promotion cycles, including calibration, manager enablement, systems, and communications.
- Partner with leaders on development planning and performance improvement.
- Advise employees and managers on workplace matters, lead investigations, coach managers, and determine when to involve counsel.
- Build and maintain the employee handbook and people policies; own review, approval, rollout, and ongoing updates.
- Manage benefits programs end to end, including evaluation, renewals, open enrollment, new-hire enrollment, and life-event changes.
- Serve as the point of contact for benefits questions and report on utilization and spend.
- Administer the HRIS, including configuration, integrations, and data integrity.
- Build reporting on headcount, attrition, and engagement.
- Design onboarding and offboarding programs, including transition planning, exit interviews, and documentation.
- Support culture and engagement through recognition programs, rituals, internal communications, and engagement surveys.
- Lead and develop the Talent & Recruiting team.
- Hire and manage an office manager and employee experience role.

## Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience across people operations and HR business partnering, including leadership of a people function.
- Experience at a company with fewer than 150 employees, owning a broad scope and executing work directly.
- Experience designing and running performance cycles end to end.
- Direct experience advising on employee relations matters and escalating appropriately.
- Hands-on HRIS administration, including configuration and data cleanup.
- Experience leading and developing talent and recruiting teams.
- Excellent written communication skills for policy, program design, and internal communications.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience building a people function from the ground up.
- Familiarity with Rippling.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $150,000-$170,000, based on seniority and relevant experience.
