## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees’ HR-related inquiries through the HR ticketing system, maintaining confidentiality and providing an excellent employee experience.
- Manage global HR onboarding and offboarding for new hires and terminations, with a focus on the Americas, including payroll paperwork, benefits administration, and work authorization compliance.
- Manage and administer compliance-related training globally.
- Manage employee data in the global HRIS and maintain accurate employee records.
- Administer US leave-of-absence compliance through Cocoon and provide leave support for employees in Canada and Brazil.
- Support benefits administration and collaborate with international benefits providers across the Americas.
- Support performance and compensation cycles, including the bi-annual merit and promotion process.
- Support employee engagement surveys and other global people programs.
- Provide backup support for EMEA and APAC onboarding, offboarding, leave, benefits, and employee inquiries.
- Collaborate with the People Operations team to implement and improve company-wide people processes.

## Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of HR generalist or people operations experience in fast-paced technology environments.
- PHR or aPHR certification, or willingness to obtain certification within 18 months of hire.
- Experience managing global HR systems; UKG/Ultipro experience is preferred.
- Prior US leave administration experience; Canada and Brazil experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace integrity.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary varies by candidate location and experience:
  - SF Bay Area, Los Angeles/Orange County, and Seattle: **$82,000–$100,000 plus bonus**
  - Other California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington state locations: **$75,000–$92,000 plus bonus**
  - Other cities and towns in approved states: **$70,000–$86,000 plus bonus**
- Compensation includes equity and health, vision, and dental benefits based on country of residence.
- Benefits may include medical coverage, wellness stipends, and additional perks.
- Quarterly in-person gatherings may include project meetings, regional meetups, and company-wide events.
