## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MetaDefender Drive using **C++** on **Linux**.
- Build secure, high-performance software for endpoint and critical infrastructure protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot new features.
- Research and prototype new technologies and proof-of-concepts.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as **GitHub Copilot**, **Cursor**, and **Claude Code** to improve productivity while maintaining security and code quality.
- Build or integrate AI-powered tools and workflows that improve engineering efficiency.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional **C++** software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Linux development, including **Shell scripting**, kernel concepts, **U-Boot**, and **Yocto**.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, databases, and debugging.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.
- Hands-on experience integrating **LLM APIs** such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar into products or internal tools.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Windows and cross-platform development.
- Experience building AI-powered automation or agents using **MCP** or similar frameworks.
