## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own technical expansion strategies for enterprise Telecommunications and Financial Services customers in Malaysia.
- Identify new workloads, use cases, and lines of business for Snowflake adoption, including risk and compliance, customer 360, network analytics, fraud, revenue assurance, and real-time personalization.
- Partner with Account Executives to drive adoption, workload expansion, and multi-line-of-business growth.
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and translate business objectives into Snowflake-powered solutions.
- Design and present target-state architectures, reference patterns, roadmaps, demos, and technical narratives.
- Lead proofs of concept and pilots, including success criteria and joint execution plans.
- Advise customers on data modeling, performance optimization, cost governance, security, operations, migration, and enterprise data-platform standardization.
- Orchestrate internal specialists, Professional Services, partners, and cross-functional teams to execute account strategies.
- Develop industry-specific solution patterns, demos, technical content, playbooks, and reference architectures for Telco and Financial Services stakeholders.
- Represent Snowflake at workshops, executive briefings, industry events, and community meetups.
- Mentor junior Solutions Engineers and contribute to regional best practices.

## Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Architect, or Data Architect in the data, analytics, or cloud space.
- Hands-on expertise with cloud data platforms, data warehousing, or big data technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with a programming language commonly used in data and analytics, such as Python.
- Ability to design and communicate architectures for data integration, warehousing, BI and analytics, and data science or machine learning workloads.
- Industry experience or strong exposure to Financial Services and/or Telecommunications.
- Demonstrated success driving technical wins and expansion in enterprise accounts, ideally in a subscription- or consumption-based model.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with technical teams and senior business or IT executives.
- Ability to manage multiple complex opportunities independently and collaboratively.
- Based in Malaysia and able to travel within the region as needed.

## Nice to Have
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-native data platforms, including data ingestion and transformation, performance tuning, cost governance, security, data masking, and governance.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their data and analytics ecosystems.
- Understanding of Financial Services and Telecommunications regulatory and compliance requirements, including data residency and Bank Negara Malaysia guidelines.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or data science and machine learning frameworks.
- Prior field pre-sales experience at a data platform, cloud provider, or analytics or AI company.
