## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Prospect for new customers.
- Assess existing customers and develop strategies to identify and engage buying centers.
- Use a solution-based approach to sell and create value for customers.
- Identify viable use cases in each account to maximize platform impact.
- Orchestrate cross-functional teams and the Databricks ecosystem across the territory.
- Build value through customer engagements to support successful negotiations and close deals.
- Promote the Databricks enterprise cloud data platform.
- Deliver technical and business results using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Build teamwork and collaboration.

## Requirements
- Experience working in an early-stage company or fast-growing organization.
- 5+ years of sales experience in SaaS, PaaS, or big data companies.
- Existing customer relationships with CIOs and other important decision-makers.
- Ability to clearly articulate complex cloud technologies and big data concepts.
- 3+ years of exceeding sales quotas.
- Success closing new accounts and upselling existing accounts.
- Bachelor's degree.
