> The Account Executive will build Flexport’s Italian customer base by prospecting, consulting on supply-chain needs, selling tech-enabled freight-forwarding solutions, closing deals, and supporting onboarding. The role requires 2–3 years of logistics or freight-forwarding sales experience and fluency in English and Italian.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build and grow Flexport Italy with the commercial team.
- Identify well-matched clients through self-prospecting and SDR-generated leads.
- Consult with prospective clients to understand their supply chain needs and pain points.
- Create value-added solutions and demonstrate capabilities through remote and in-person meetings.
- Close deals and lead customer onboarding by leveraging internal resources and teams.

## Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in a freight forwarding or logistics sales role, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing in the Italian market.
- Experience in the logistics industry; freight forwarding experience strongly preferred.
- Willingness to cold-call prospects when there is an opportunity to win.
- Experience managing accounts and creating an outstanding client experience.
- Ability to lead value-adding discovery calls and uncover customer processes and pain points.
- Fast learning ability, strong work ethic, and ambition to grow as a sales executive.
- Fluent English and Italian.
- CV submitted in English.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Gross annual base salary: €35,200–€48,400 EUR, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.
- 22 vacation days, plus paid permits and time off, canceled holidays, and ROL.
