## Job Description

## Strategic Leadership
- Define and drive Airbnb's approach to tickets, identifying key partners and categories.
- Build business cases and translate market dynamics into growth plans impacting supply activation, GBV, and customer experience.

## Market and Partner Intelligence
- Maintain deep understanding of the ticketing market (tours, activities, attractions, live events).
- Understand OTAs, primary/secondary ticketers, reservation systems, and channel managers.
- Synthesize intelligence and relationships to shape priorities.

## Analytical Excellence
- Build financial models, performance frameworks, and operational analyses.
- Derive non-obvious insights from large datasets and translate into actionable recommendations.
- Proficient in Excel; SQL strongly preferred; actively uses AI tools.

## Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Align plans with Product, Marketing, Supply, Finance, and Partnerships.
- Influence roadmaps, shape requirements, and ensure prioritization.
- Fluency in product and marketing to drive conversion and LTV.

## Stakeholder Engagement
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as trusted advisor translating data and market dynamics into recommendations.

## Innovation and Growth
- Identify new levers (incentives, partner programs, GTM approaches) to accelerate supply, tickets sold, GBV.
- Activate the Airbnb flywheel with creativity in strategy and execution.

## Requirements
- 12+ years in strategy, business operations, or related field at high-growth tech or marketplace company.
- Track record owning ambiguous, high-impact problems and delivering results.
- Builds complex financial/operational models personally.
- Product fluency: identify gaps, write requirements, influence roadmaps.
- Marketing fluency: growth mechanics, demand-side programs, conversion, LTV.
- Experience in or adjacent to ticketing technology ecosystem (channel managers, reservation systems, ticketing platforms).
- Operates without direct authority through analysis and recommendations.
- Self-starter who continuously learns new tools, domains, methods.
- Outcome-obsessed with focus on key metrics.
- Exceptional communicator for various audiences.
- MBA preferred.
- Proficient in Excel; SQL strongly preferred; uses AI tools.

## Compensation
- Base pay range: $204,000 - $249,000 USD.
- Eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
