## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the product design process from early concept exploration through detailed specifications.
- Conduct customer interviews, contextual inquiries, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Contribute to and maintain Blink’s design system across mobile and web.
- Work as an embedded member of a cross-functional squad with engineers and product managers.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, design reviews, and day-to-day product decisions.
- Design mobile-first experiences for frontline workers in challenging environments, including low connectivity, shared devices, and varied literacy levels.
- Deliver polished desktop experiences for administrators.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to validate and iterate on designs.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex products.
- Mobile-first design expertise, including native mobile patterns and frontline-worker constraints.
- Experience planning and conducting user research, synthesizing findings, and advocating for users.
- Expert proficiency in Figma and strong prototyping skills.
- Ability to articulate design rationale to engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills in a fast-paced squad environment.

## Nice to Have
- B2B product design experience.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of WCAG and inclusive design practices.
- Experience in a scaling startup environment.
- Systems-thinking experience designing complex workflows.
- Experience with Sketch or Adobe XD.
