## Job Description

## What You'll Be Working On
- Owner of electrical design and optimizations for Crusoe Spark
- Support to the Research and Development team as new technologies are explored
- Standardization and templating of design blocks for modular electrical systems
- Act as a technical subject matter expert during customer meetings, translating complex requirements into actionable modular design strategies
- Key support and stakeholder to Crusoe Industries - who manufactures Crusoe Spark
- Cross-Functional Support: Pivot dynamically to support the broader design engineering group on fast-track projects, value engineering exercises, or unexpected scope changes
- Research and test new, cutting-edge electrical technologies to incorporate into future prefab design iterations
- Electrical design road map owner for Crusoe Spark in partnership with R&D

## What You'll Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in prefabricated building electrical design and application
- Experience designing and iterating for modular data centers. Emphasis on Electrical and compute rack design
- Product Management experience supporting a product road map and driving improvements via continuous improvement
- Field application experience installing and commissioning modular assets
- High adaptability and the ability to manage ambiguity, smoothly shifting focus between high-level customer discussions and granular engineering templating
- Deep understanding of how AI compute loads impact power distribution, from the utility transformer down to the server rack
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate highly technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills to conduct rapid feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses

**Bonus Points**
- AI modular data center design and field installation experience
- Professional engineering license

- Compensation range: $168,000 - $192,000 + Bonus
