## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Define how the world sees Basis and establish the company's voice and unique stories at the intersection of AI and accounting.
- Craft compelling company narratives, especially to attract best-in-class ML/eng talent.
- Increase public writing and storytelling to build a generational brand.

## Requirements
- Excellent writer who crafts compelling narratives with a corpus of public writing.
- First principles reasoner able to break down complex technical problems and communicate clearly.
- Understands the zeitgeist of best-in-class engineers/technologists (active on X/Substack).
- Strong taste and judgment to distinguish authentic messaging.
- All-in commitment (not 9-5).
