## Job Description

# Member of Technical Staff, Financial Infrastructure

Building infrastructure for financial institutions to offer digital asset services like custody, trading, and staking.

## Responsibilities
- Build secure, scalable infrastructure for digital asset custody, trading, staking, and settlement.
- Design virtual accounting layers, API integrations, and multi-tenant architectures.
- Drive technical excellence via code reviews, design specs, and mentorship.
- Lead cross-functional projects across custody, trading, compliance, and integrations.
- Own end-to-end lifecycle of platform features, including on-call.
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, security, and clients.

## Requirements
- 8+ years building backend services and distributed systems.
- Experience with customer-facing APIs and multi-tenant architectures.
- Cloud-native microservices (GCP or similar).
- Automated testing, production support, on-call, and incident response.
- Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, systems design).
- Focus on code quality, reliability, security, and business value.

## Nice-to-Haves
- C++, Go, or Rust.
- Kubernetes.
- Ledger systems, virtual accounting, or custody infrastructure.
- Fintech/banking background.
- System security experience.
- Regulatory knowledge (SOC 2, etc.).
- Crypto/digital assets experience.
