## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Advise and coach leaders across Product and Engineering, including senior technical leaders and executives.
- Support employees and managers on human-resource topics throughout the employee lifecycle, partnering with People team specialists.
- Help management build a high-performance culture and appropriately manage performance and employee-relations matters.
- Liaise with Benefits, Compensation, Finance, leadership, and other specialist teams to implement scalable programs and policies.
- Collaborate on cross-functional HR projects, including manager training.
- Partner with technical leaders on organizational design, team scaling, and talent development.
- Support career-development frameworks and progression paths for technical roles.

## Requirements
- Experience in HR at a fast-growing technology company or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in North American employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience partnering with technical organizations and understanding Product and Engineering team dynamics.
- Experience providing confidential, practical support and conflict-resolution assistance.
- Strong knowledge of human-resources best practices and culturally appropriate implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

## Nice-to-haves
- 6+ years of experience in HR business partnering, People Operations, Employee Relations, Recruiting, or related functions.
- Experience supporting Product, Engineering, or Infrastructure teams.
- Experience in AI/ML companies or with teams building advanced technology products.
- Understanding of technical career ladders, engineering culture, and scaling technical organizations.
- Experience building and scaling processes and setting up new systems in a rapidly growing company.
- Pragmatic problem-solving and creative solution development.
- Curiosity about artificial intelligence and its applications.

## Compensation
- Annual salary: **$255,000–$310,000 USD**.
- Hybrid policy: staff are expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time.
