## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, expense management, and month-end close.
- Own invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and cash tracking.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate payroll-related accounting and employee reimbursements.
- Partner with external accountants on taxes, audits, and compliance filings.
- Improve accounting workflows, internal controls, and operational processes.
- Assist with procurement, software and vendor tracking, and operational finance projects.
- Help build scalable finance processes as the company grows.

## Requirements
- 4+ years of accounting experience in a SaaS company.
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and month-end close.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience supporting Canadian and/or US entities is a plus.
- CPA designation or progress toward one is a plus.
- Startup or SaaS experience is preferred.
