## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### Develop and Maintain Cloud Infrastructure
- Implement and evolve infrastructure as code using **Terraform** or **Pulumi**.
- Automate and monitor a **Kubernetes**-based platform and **CI/CD** pipelines.
- Contribute to infrastructure tooling that improves repeatability, safety, and visibility.

### Support Developer Productivity
- Build CLI tools, shared libraries, and scripts to accelerate development workflows.
- Improve build, test, and deployment workflows to reduce developer friction.
- Help define standards for service configuration, secrets management, and application-level observability.

### Contribute to Platform Resilience
- Implement dashboards, alerts, and runbooks for platform engineering services.
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and follow-up improvements.
- Propose and prototype changes to improve availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

## Requirements
- **5+ years** of professional experience working with cloud infrastructure, such as **Google Cloud**, **AWS**, or **Azure**.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as **Terraform** or **Pulumi** and CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code using at least one scripting or programming language, such as **Go**, **Python**, **Bash**, or **TypeScript**.
- Hands-on experience using AI agents, such as **Claude Code**, for engineering tasks, including providing clear context, explicit constraints, and deliberate planning.
- Experience with containerization, such as **Docker**, and orchestration tools such as **Kubernetes**.
- Understanding of version-control workflows and regular participation in code reviews.
- Strong communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to grow into greater architectural and operational responsibilities.
