## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the electrical systems of the modular product on the production line, including power distribution, grounding, and controls integration, from released drawings through rate production.
- Work on the Phoenix manufacturing floor daily to identify wiring and termination issues and disposition them at the station.
- Answer electrical RFIs from the floor and engineer fixes into subsequent revisions.
- Run first-article reviews and electrical checkout as units move through production.
- Document findings rigorously to drive design and process changes.
- Feed production learnings back into one-lines, panel schedules, and the BOM while maintaining the drawing set as the single source of truth.

## Requirements
- Hands-on experience engineering electrical systems for complex physical products, modular construction, or critical facilities.
- Experience working on a shop floor or production line and dispositioning nonconformances.
- Experience supporting production launches of personally designed systems through stable production.
- Ability to create drawings that fabricators and electricians can build cleanly from.
- Ability to iterate quickly while maintaining configuration control and incorporating floor fixes into released drawing sets.
- Credibility in both design reviews and hands-on electrical troubleshooting with a multimeter.

## Nice-to-haves
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Working knowledge of UL 508A panel standards.
- Data center power distribution experience.
- Panel checkout and quality-control experience.
- Strong design-for-manufacturing (DFM) instincts.

## Compensation
- Salary range: $164,000–$206,000 annually.
