## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead all post-sales activities for Vanta’s mid-market customers through onboarding, implementation, product expertise, renewal, and identification of upsell opportunities.
- Partner with Account Managers to drive renewal and expansion opportunities within the book of business.
- Act as the voice of the customer within Vanta.
- Serve as the point of contact for customers and drive them toward specific business outcomes on their timelines.
- Become a product expert on Vanta and its compliance offerings, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, USDP, and custom frameworks; Trust Reports; and Risk Management.
- Provide insightful technical answers and recommend efficient ways for customers to achieve compliance using the platform.
- Develop trusted-advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors to support renewals, expansion, and advocacy.
- Influence Vanta’s strategy and product priorities by representing customer needs.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve customer business issues and pursue mutual goals.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Customer Success at a SaaS company.
- Extensive experience engaging C-level executives and building trusted relationships.
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills, including experience with Quarterly Business Reviews, health check-ins, and executive summaries.
- Ability to remain nimble and agile in an environment with shifting priorities.
- Clear, thoughtful communication and strong critical-thinking skills.
- High empathy and a proven record of long-term customer retention.
- Experience meeting retention targets and creating healthy customer relationships.
- Technical competency to understand Vanta’s software and work effectively with highly technical customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for making an early, significant impact at a startup.
- Curiosity about using AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.

## Nice to Have
- Experience in the security or compliance industry.
