## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### Commercial Services Performance
- Own EMEA services bookings across bespoke, packaged, and partner-delivered work; forecast accurately and manage to target.
- Drive delivery quality for custom-scoped EMEA implementations, ensuring engagements meet timelines, budgets, and committed customer outcomes.
- Drive time-to-value and adoption on delivered engagements, measured by customer results.

### Commercial Motion, Scoping, and Services Attach
- Own the EMEA motion from opportunity qualification through scoping, SOW, and handoff to delivery.
- Set standards for scoping quality, pricing, and margin; review and approve custom SOWs against commercial and delivery-risk thresholds.
- Partner with EMEA Sales to maximize appropriate services attach to software deals.
- Select the optimal mix of bespoke, packaged, internal, and partner delivery to balance margin, speed, and quality.

### Packaged and Scaled Services
- Own the EMEA packaged and standardized services portfolio, including small projects, maintenance, advisory, and add-ons.
- Oversee packaged-service customers, keeping projects on schedule and managing support issues proactively.
- Maintain standardized, profitable, and market-relevant offerings across SMB and Strategic accounts.

### Partner Governance and Capacity Expansion
- Own governance, oversight, and operational relationships with EMEA implementation partners.
- Define and run onboarding and certification for Partner Implementation Managers.
- Define ways of working between internal and partner consultants.
- Deploy certified partner resources alongside Benchling consultants to scale capacity while maintaining quality.

### Process, Methodology, and Accountability
- Ensure adherence to the Benchling Implementation Methodology across bespoke delivery, packaged services, and certified EMEA partners.
- Build frameworks, playbooks, and governance that scale quality and consistency.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for utilization, realization, margin, partner performance, enablement efficacy, and project velocity; report to EMEA CX leadership.

## Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Professional Services, Consulting, or Delivery, with expertise owning complex commercial engagements end to end.
- Experience owning a services portfolio, program, or commercial outcome as a senior individual contributor or player-coach.
- Proven ownership of bookings, revenue, and margin outcomes, including scoping, pricing, forecasting, and estimate-at-completion discipline.
- Track record of driving results and enforcing standards across teams without direct management authority.
- Experience with high-volume standardized services alongside custom enterprise engagements.
- Experience enabling and governing third-party consulting or system integration partners on technical implementations.
- Experience delivering across EMEA markets, time zones, and languages.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, implementation methodologies such as agile, and cloud/SaaS environments.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Flexible hybrid work arrangement prioritizing in-office collaboration; employees are expected to be onsite three days per week on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
