## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain **Elixir services** and **React frontend** code.
- Work across the technology stack, including code, infrastructure, and production monitoring.
- Optimize systems to perform well under load.
- Use continuous integration and continuous deployment tools to ship code.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver project priorities within deadlines.
- Work with customers and team members on technical issues, including outages, security risks, maintenance, deployments, and support tickets.
- Conduct research and prototyping with limited oversight.
- Participate in constructive code reviews.
- Collaborate with UX designers to improve product fit and usability.
- Prepare for and participate in team meetings.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of Elixir, React, and PostgreSQL.
- **3+ years** of experience working on professional software development projects using Elixir.
- Strong SQL, data, and database migration experience.
- Hands-on experience with Git, branching, and pull requests.
- Ability to create proposals, diagrams, specifications, and analyses from user requirements.
- Excellent debugging skills and pragmatic design experience.
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
- Ability to understand unfamiliar codebases and make safe code changes.
- Experience engaging with open-source projects and communities.
- Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for end-to-end ownership, production reliability, monitoring, and real-world performance.
