## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own a core product area end-to-end, including strategy, roadmap, execution, and iteration based on usage signals and customer feedback.
- Drive search quality and relevance improvements with engineering and research by defining evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, and release criteria.
- Engage enterprise customers and developer users to validate ideas, understand pain points, and shape product-market fit across PLG and enterprise motions.
- Monitor the competitive landscape in agentic search and AI-powered retrieval, identifying shifts, threats, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales, solutions, and growth teams on product positioning, ICP definitions, and enablement materials.
- Contribute to product strategy as a senior member of a small, high-impact team.
- Lead product experiments and rapid iteration cycles from hypothesis and prototype through production, with clear success criteria.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, including meaningful experience in developer tools, API platforms, or search and retrieval infrastructure.
- Track record of shipping products in fast-moving markets in close collaboration with engineering and design.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, AI agents, and search and retrieval systems in agentic workflows.
- A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to engage deeply with technical architecture and tradeoffs.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and balancing strategic thinking with tactical execution.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment without formal authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to engineers and business stakeholders.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in search, information retrieval, NLP, or adjacent domains.
- Experience with API-first or developer-platform businesses serving both PLG and enterprise customers.
- Leadership experience in a high-growth technology company, particularly post-acquisition or startup-within-a-larger-organization environments.
- People management or mentoring experience.
