## Job Description

## What you'll do
- Deeply understand our customers’ needs, business objectives, and state of the industry to imagine & bring to life paradigm-changing experiences.
- Establish a high bar for visual polish and intuitive interaction patterns.
- Clearly define customer and business problems. Explore broad-to-narrow solutions with thoughtful designs.
- Pioneer the integration of **AI tools** and **generative design** techniques into our core design workflows to accelerate ideation, increase output efficiency, and unlock entirely new product experiences.
- Ideate, design, launch and improve products to help advance Collective’s mission.
- Work with a cross functional product development team (**product managers**, **engineers**, **designers**, **operations**, **sales & marketing**) to ship innovative and well-crafted experiences, for scale.
- Optimize for execution velocity while maintaining a high quality bar, making tradeoffs between design choices and resources available.
- Contribute to growing a robust & refined **design system**.

## What you'll bring
- **6 - 8+ years** of experience as a **Product Designer**.
- Demonstrated impact on product strategy and customer experience in previous roles, preferably within **Fintech** or **Consumer Tech**.
- Outstanding **UX** capabilities and strong **visual design** competency, including visual, **UI/UX**, **copy writing** and **systems-design**.
- Experience with and a high bar for visual polish and intuitive, simple design patterns. Passion for turning complex problems into simple & engaging solutions.
- Proven ability to leverage **AI/ML tools** (e.g., **generative AI**, automated testing) to enhance the speed and quality of the design process.
- Innate understanding of the end-to-end design process - from identifying customer needs and pain points to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- The ability to apply consumer insights and metrics to inform design decisions and influence the product roadmap.
- Strong systems thinker with the ability to connect the dots across the entire customer journey.
